2nd Leg Bull Trap (Failed Bull BO). BLTP2 is strong bull breakout with little or no FT, that quickly reverses down, trapping bulls who hoped for bull trend. Now either trading range (more likely) or bear trend reversal.
- BLTP2 usually comes in a trading range day and usually leads to more TRPA[1]
- BLTP2 is more common when 1st leg up is a wedge[2] (for e.g. 20210412)
- BLTP2 often leads to big selloff but usually not strong bear trend[3]
